Chris Bidwell Joins IWI Board, Enhancing Wealth Management Expertise

Denver, CO — December 4, 2018Investments & Wealth Institute®, formerly IMCA®, elected Thomas "Chris" Bidwell, Vice President, Morgan Stanley, to the organization’s board of directors for a two-year term beginning Jan. 1, 2019.
 
The 13-member volunteer board of directors of the Investments & Wealth Institute governs and guides the organization as the fiduciary, policy-setting, and strategic governing body of the organization. Directors-at-large serve up to three two-year terms and may serve longer when elected as an officer.
 
“We are honored to have an industry veteran like Chris Bidwell join our board,” said Sean Walters, CAE, chief executive officer. “Over the last few decades, Chris has become well known for his retirement and wealth management expertise–especially for his knowledge and practical skills on how best to serve multigenerational families.”
 
Bidwell has been at Morgan Stanley since 1994. As a member of the Investments & Wealth Institute since 2003, he has actively served on a variety of committees, including as chairman of the Annual Conference Committee and the Retirement Management Forum. He also serves on the Institute’s Strategic Retirement Advisory Council.
