Q:  Are there any changes to the CIMA® and CPWA® designations now that IMCA is the Investments & Wealth Institute?
A:
  For active CIMA and CPWA holders, it will be business as usual, except for being under the umbrella of the new organization. Your certification renewal requirements and Code of Professional Responsibility remain unchanged. However, there will be new logos for CIMA and CPWA that are consistent with the overall branding guidelines. New usage guides to the marks will be made available and can be downloaded.

Q:  How should I refer to my credentials now that IMCA is the Investments & Wealth Institute and where can I find client materials?
A:  Please refer to the Marks Use Guide for guidance on how best to refer to your credentials. Client materials are readily downloadable at resources for CIMA and CPWA certificants.   

Q:  Will my renewal requirements change as a result of the Institute?
A:  Your certification renewal requirements and Code of Professional Responsibility remain unchanged. You can easily check online your CIMA renewal and CPWA renewal requirements. You will want to be sure to review your personal account to view your own accrual of continuing education hours.

Q:  Does my login to my personal account remain the same?
A:   Yes, your login to your personal account remains unchanged.  Your MYIMCA ID number will continue to be your ID number.  If you are having trouble logging into your account, or forgot your password, you can reset it here.
