CE Credit for CPWA Candidates

Earning and Reporting CE Credit while Completing the CPWA Certification Program

Investments & Wealth Institute®
CIMA®, RMASM, and CIMC® certified professionals may earn up to 40 CE credit hours, including two ethics hours, after successful completion of the executive education requirement for CPWA certification.

Once successful completion of the executive education program has been reported to the Institute, CE credit will be automatically reported on your behalf, and reflected in your online account approximately two weeks after completion of the program.

CFP Board of Standards
Successful completion of the executive education requirement for CPWA certification meets the requirement for all CFP CE hours required in a renewal period (except for CFP ethics CE). The Institute will report CFP CE hours to the CFP Board on your behalf within four weeks of completing the executive education requirment. The CFP ID field on your Institute account must be complete and accurate for this process to take place. To verify, log in to your dashboard account and click “update my demographic information” on the right-hand side to locate the CFP ID field.

Other Certifications/Licenses
Upon request, the Investments & Wealth Institute will provide a certificate of completion for you to report CE credit hours to certifying bodies and licensing boards not listed above (e.g., state insurance departments, bar associations, etc.).
