Call for Nominations – Honor Leaders in Investment Consulting and Wealth Management through Investments & Wealth Institute Awards

DENVER (October 25, 2018)—Investments & Wealth Institute® (formerly IMCA®) is calling for nominations for three awards honoring leaders in investment consulting and wealth management.

Nominations will be accepted until November 2, 2018, for the Investments & Wealth Institute Investment Consulting Impact Award, the Investments & Wealth Institute Wealth Management Impact Award, and the Investments & Wealth Institute Governance Insight Award. Winners will be announced at the Institute’s Annual Conference Experience, to be held in Las Vegas, May 5–8, 2019.

Investments & Wealth Institute Investment Consulting Impact Award
This award was named for Matthew R. McArthur in honor of his selfless contributions to the organization. The Investment Consulting Impact Award honors individuals who have made an outstanding contribution and demonstrated commitment to the field of investment consulting, including contributions to industry-specific technology or to advances in the advisor skill set. The individual does not have to be a current or previously practicing investment consultant.

Investments & Wealth Institute Wealth Management Impact Award
This award honors J. Richard Joyner, who was instrumental in the development of and instruction within the CPWA certification program. The Wealth Management Impact Award honors individuals who have contributed exceptional advancements in the field of private wealth management, which is embodied by the Investments & Wealth Institute Certified Private Wealth Advisor® (CPWA®) program. The award recognizes key innovations and thought leadership in any of the CPWA knowledge domains: human dynamics, wealth management strategies, client specialization, and legacy planning.

Investments & Wealth Institute Governance Insight Award
This award symbolizes Richard J. Davis’ commitment to the highest possible standards of ethics and legal compliance and also symbolizes the Institute’s commitment to those high standards. The Governance Insight Award honors the author(s) of a written work (e.g., article, paper, book) published in the previous year that has made significant contributions in ethics, legal, regulatory, or other relevant areas that affect the investment and wealth management professions.

Please note, the names of the awards have changed to more accurately reflect the Investments & Wealth Institute recent rebrand.   For more information, visit https://investmentsandwealth.org/about-us/awards.
