Unveiling IWI's Remarkable Growth and Future Plans in Investment Education

Dear Members,
The Investments & Wealth Institute is your professional community, advanced education provider, and standards body. 2020 was the 35th anniversary of our founding. Due to the exemplary efforts of more than 140 volunteers and a professional staff of 44, it is our privilege to support and serve you, our members, certificants, candidates, and industry partners. Our non-profit mission remains the same, to deliver the premier investment consulting and wealth management credentials, and world-class education.
In 2020:
We grew the total count of members and certificants to 13,000. We believe that growing the number of certified professionals enhances the competency and professionalism of advice delivered to the public.
We delivered 100 educational programs, hosting 29,900 learners, a 40% increase over 2019. We believe that advisory professionals can rely on us for access to the most relevant knowledge, insights, and tools required to best serve their clients and distinguish their expertise in a global, and highly competitive marketplace.
We awarded 191 scholarships for our CIMA®, CPWA®, and RMA® certifications (combined) to women, people of color, and advisors in need. The Institute’s Scholarship Program is funded through corporate partner fees and individual contributions. With your support, we succeeded in growing the number of underrepresented minorities in the advice profession, generating a 3X increase in diverse candidates.

As we look towards next year, we are excited about the future. We have a variety of initiatives and upgrades planned that will enhance the Institute experience for all members and certificants. Look for these new features throughout 2021!
