The Newly Branded Annual Conference Exemplifies the Investments & Wealth Institute’s Commitment to Deliver Premier Quality Education for Advanced Advisors from all Channels.
Denver, CO - The Investments & Wealth Institute (the Institute), has announced the date and location for its 2024 annual conference—along with a rebranding that emphasizes the Institute’s priority to optimize advisor engagement and deliver advanced content and practical strategies for exceptional advisors.
The annual conference—formerly known as ‘Annual Conference Experience Academy’(ACE Academy)— will now be known as ‘Investments & Wealth Experience,’ with the year added as a distinction. ‘Investments & Wealth Experience 2024’ will be held at the Wynn Las Vegas from April 7-10 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Unlike other online advisor listings, all professionals listed hold quality, legitimate certifications that are administered by non-profit certifying bodies to meet international best practices and standards for personnel certification providers.
“We have completely re-envisioned our annual conference based on member feedback and through our Future of Conferences (FutureCon) Task Force,” said Sean R. Walters, CAE, Chief Executive Officer for the Institute. “Our goal is to differentiate ‘Experience’ as the industry’s must-attend, in-person event by prioritizing educational value that appeals to advanced practitioners seeking practical and actionable ways to better serve their high-net-worth clients.”
The FutureCon Task Force was established to assess the Institute’s portfolio of events and develop a plan of action to deliver high-quality content in a post-COVID environment. “What we learned through COVID is that technology can help us deliver educational content in a variety of ways. However, in-person events provide an environment that is more conducive for attendee engagement, shared experiences, and networking,” said Christine Gaze, CIMA®, CFP®, Vice Chair of Professional Development and Volunteer Chair of the FutureCon Task Force. “Our members have said they experience much more in-person than they do with on-demand or streamed events. We will continue to deliver content in various ways, but nothing replaces our in-person event experience.”
Attendee evaluations post-event are an important measure of success, and 67% of attendees rate the Institute’s events as more educational than other industry events. Attendee satisfaction is also reflected in the Net Promotor Score (NPS), which is an index ranging from -100 to 100 that measures customer satisfaction and willingness to recommend a particular product or service. The Institute continuously strives to improve its NPS when surveying attendees, even though it is currently the highest it has ever been in its history—averaging 75 for its 2023 events to date.
While still early in the development of the agenda for Investments & Wealth Experience 2024, registration for the conference is now open. Early Bird Pricing is set at $1,295 — a $200 discount — until March 8, 2024. At that time, registration will increase to $1,495.
Historically, Investments & Wealth Experience has been the largest association gathering of advanced wealth management practitioners in the industry, averaging between 1,200 and 1,500 attendees with an average AUM of $350M. Attendees may earn over 25 Continuing Education (CE) credits by attending the conference in-person. For those unable to attend in-person, select sessions will be available on-demand shortly after the conclusion of the conference.
