Lauris S. Lambergs Brings an International Perspective to the IWI Board

Denver, CO — November 16, 2020  — Investments & Wealth Institute® is pleased to announce that Lauris S. Lambergs, CIMA®, CHSA®, has been elected to the organization’s board of directors for a two-year term beginning Jan. 1, 2021.
 
Lauris brings more than 25 years of global professional experience in institutional investing, business management and family wealth facilitation to the board of directors. Working and living in foreign countries has given him extensive experience with the complexity and nuanced financial needs of cross-border families, or those that have financial roots in both the U.S. and elsewhere.  Focusing upon the importance of the long-term financial well-being of his clients, he recognizes that each client has a unique family logic in considering and making complex decisions around wealth.

Lauris earned a degree in French and Political Science from Duke University. In addition to a Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) designation he has also earned the designation of Certified Health Savings Advisor (CHSA®) from Access Point HSA.
 
Lauris is the Co-founder and Chief Investment Officer at Renaissance Wealth Advisors, LLC. a Registered Investment Advisor headquartered in Massachusetts. As a member of the Investments & Wealth Institute since 2004, he has actively served on a variety of committees, including as the Institute’s Chair of the Investment Advisor Forum conference committee, helping to shape the Institute’s renowned New York City educational conference. He also serves on the Wealth Advisor Forum conference committee.

The 13-member volunteer board of directors of the Investments & Wealth Institute governs and guides the organization as the fiduciary, policy-setting, and strategic governing body of the organization. Directors-at-large serve up to three two-year terms and may serve longer when elected as an officer.
