The Future of Wealth Management

In this far-reaching discussion, we will explore the future of wealth management, and the implications for wealth advisors. We will examine short- and long-term trends that will shape the future of the wealth management and asset management businesses. We will specifically cover the following:

  • What product evolution trends are underway (interval funds, tender offer funds, non-transparent exchanged-traded funds, direct indexing, environmental, social, and governance investing, etc.)?
  • Which ones will be transformative—which ones will fizzle out?
  • Will we continue to see mergers and acquisitions activity?
  • Will there be industry-wide consolidation?
  • What role will alternative investments play for wealth advisors?
  • How has COVID-19 impacted the sales and support model?

Globalization in a Post-Pandemic World: Risks and Opportunities

January 21, 2021 | 4:30 - 5:30 p.m. ET
Speaker: Dambisa Moyo, PhD,  Global Economist and New York Times Best-Selling Author

In this exclusive webinar, Tony Davidow, CIMA®, interviews Dambisa Moyo, PhD, global economist and author. Even before the global pandemic hit in earnest in early 2020, there was notable evidence that globalization—the tenet that had buttressed 30 years of global economic progress—was unwinding, and that rising protectionism would drive global growth lower. This webinar will explore the following: the five pillars of globalization, why they are declining, how things have changed in a post-pandemic world, the investment implications of these changes, and untapped opportunities (e.g., markets, regions, sectors).
